The first Board Assurance Forum took place on Tuesday 27th October 2009, at London Zoo.

The agenda for this forum was built using topics and questions raised by forum participants and created a lively debate.

Topics discussed included the increasing burden of meeting the requirements of regulatory bodies, identifying and articulating assurance needs and ensuring that decisions are fully challenged. To view the outcome of these discussions please read the Discussion Notes on the right hand menu.

 The aim of the Forum is that ideas will be shared on best practice experiences of overcoming challenges and meeting the continually increasing and changing requirements for board assurance.
